Camera Permission

Face Data and Attendance Verification
Nova Payroll may use the device camera to capture selfie photos and perform face detection during employee attendance activities such as check-in and check-out.
The application uses face detection only to verify the presence of a real person during attendance and to help prevent fake attendance attempts using photos or non-human objects.
Nova Payroll does not use facial recognition technology to identify individuals, does not create biometric face templates, and does not perform biometric profiling.

Face Data Retention Period
Selfie attendance photos are retained for a maximum period of 365 days from the date of attendance submission.
This retention period is necessary to support attendance verification, payroll processing, internal audits, dispute resolution, and organizational administrative requirements.
After the retention period expires, the selfie attendance photos are permanently deleted or anonymized from the system.
Nova Payroll does not store biometric templates, facial recognition identities, or biometric profiling data.
Location Information
The application may access device location information during attendance activities to record employee attendance coordinates and validate attendance locations.
Location data is only accessed when required for attendance-related activities initiated by the user.
Microphone Permission
Nova Payroll may request microphone access for recording audio in supporting videos uploaded during employee submission activities.
Photo Library Permission
The application may access the device photo library to allow users to select and upload supporting images or documents for employee submissions.
Notifications
Nova Payroll may send notifications related to:
- Attendance reminders
- Submission approval status
- Payroll information
